Tom Carlson holds the position of CEO at SCI. In addition to his shared responsibilities in management, he possesses expertise in diverse areas such as business management, product research, technical support, and both product and process design within the SCI framework.

Tom's passion lies in resolving challenges related to cleaning and processes, diligently seeking optimal solutions for his clients. Recognizing the hurdles customers face in resolving their unique site issues, he is dedicated to offering his expertise in identifying the most suitable chemical, machinery, or procedural approaches, tailored to specific situations and surfaces.

With an extensive background encompassing various facets of flooring products, installation, janitorial services, and specialized maintenance, Tom's knowledge spans yarn technologies, dye systems, backing systems, labor management, installation, floor preparation, cleaning agents, cleaning equipment, methodologies, and maintenance protocols for a wide array of commercial surfaces.

Tom's introduction to the industry stemmed from his father's ownership of a flooring installation and maintenance company. Over time, he has worked extensively with manufacturers, end-users, installation contractors, as well as janitorial and specialized maintenance providers. This collaboration covers diverse arenas such as sales management, operations, customer service, training, safety protocols, and more.

Throughout his extensive tenure in the industry, Tom has contributed to various companies to enriching his perspective and insight.
